2 car-borne youth killed in Samba road accident

Jammu, Dec 11: Two car-borne youth were killed when their vehicle was hit by a trawler-truck near Nanke Chak in Samba district late Sunday night.

Police said that the accident occurred when the youth, including a bridegroom, were on their way from Lengath village to Samba to pick the bride in a car, bearing registration number JK21-G 1311. “Their car was hit by a rashly driven trawler truck, bearing registration number PB04N 9375, on the way from Punjab to Jammu. The car was crushed by a trawler which rammed into it. Both the youth – the bridegroom identified as Sushil Kumar, son of Mansukh Dayal and his friend Romi, son of Ashok Kumar, both residents of Nanke Chak, died on the spot,” police added.

   

A case in this connection under relevant sections was registered, the police added.
