Ramban, May 17: Police arrested six bovine smugglers today in Ramban on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.
Two smugglers managed to escape. Six vehicles were seized and 75 animals were rescued .
Police sources said that bovine animals were found tied cruelly and were being transported illegally towards Kashmir in these vehicles.
