During their meetings in Kashmir, political parties, including the Indian National Congress (INC), emphasized the urgency of holding the Assembly elections promptly. “The restoration of a democratic government is essential for the well-being and stability of Jammu and Kashmir. We urge the Election Commission to expedite the electoral process,” said a senior INC leader.
