Srinagar, June 12: Another terrorist was killed on Wednesday in an ongoing operation in the Saida Sohal area of Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, taking the death toll to three.
Quoting official sources, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that security forces have killed one more terrorist in the operation which was launched late last evening after terrorists opened fire in the village.
Soon, security forces rushed to the village and launched a counter-terrorist operation, in which one terrorist was killed while a CRPF man suffered injuries. However, the injured CRPF man succumbed earlier today.
Reports said that searches were underway in the area with the security forces believing that one more terrorist was hiding in the civilian area.
