Jammu, May 24: Intensive searches, including door-to-door verification, were conducted in several forward villages along the International Border (IB) in the Samba district amid reports of movement of suspicious elements in Bein-Lal Chak village on Friday.
Officials said that the security forces used advanced surveillance technology for the combing operation, covering forest stretches, and fields as well. “Though security forces did not achieve any headway in the operation so far yet searches were underway in forward villages including Manguchak, Regal etc., along the IB,” they added.
