Srinagar, July 12: Security forces launched search operation in the border belt of Jammu district on Friday, after input was received about suspicious movement in the areas, officials said.
The joint search operation was launched by Army, Police and CRPF in Guda Patan and Kana Chak areas in Akhnoor belt this morning after villagers informed police about the suspicious movement of three unidentified persons in the area, the official said.
The forces have been put on high alert, while people have been urged to share any detail about suspicious movement if any.
The forces have scanned agricultural fields, villages and residential shelters in the respective areas, the official said.
He added the searches are underway.
