Security review meeting held in Ramban

Ramban, June 14: In view current security scenario in the Jammu and Kashmir and forthcoming Amaranth Yatra, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban , Anuj Kumar , chaired a security review meeting in Ramban.

In the meeting, a quick review of the overall security scenario of the district including the emerging challenges was analysed and responses were discussed. They said various issues including the prime position of the district was discussed, the meeting.

   

Besides this the NDPS/ULAP Act was discussed in detail and the pendency of backlog cases was also reviewed.

SSP also gave spot directions regarding anti-militancy operations such as operations Touch, Bowl, Milan, Sazra, and Operation Kitab etc. Given the current security scenario in the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, all the security measures are in place in the district to avoid potential problems during the Yatra, they added.
