Three persons died after a truck met with an accident and plunged into a gorge on Srinagar-Jammu highway early Friday morning.
Reports said a truck (registration number JK05E 6580) was on its way to Jammu from Srinagar when it met with an accident and rolled down into a 1000-meter-deep gorge near Battery Chashma in Ramban district.
The bodies of three persons were retrieved during a rescue operation.
Their identity was not immediately known. Further details are awaited.
