Ramban, Aug 24: Ramban police recovered body of a youth, who died under suspicious circumstances in Ramban town on late last night.
Police source said Ramban Police Station received an information from reliable source that a body is lying in Ward no 1, Ramban.
They said on getting information a police team rushed to the spot and examine the scene where body was found and then shifted it to the mortuary of District Hospital Ramban for identification and postmortem.
SHO Police Station Ramban Vijay Kotwal confirmed recovery of body from ward no 1.
He said deceased was identified as Mohammad Muzamil Sheikh 24, son of Nazir Ahmed Sheikh resident of Banihal. He said body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs on Saturday. He further said investigations in the case is underway.
