Jammu, Nov 1: Two Punjab residents were killed when a truck they were travelling in skidded off a bridge at Bagiyal Morh near Barnoti in Kathua district on Wednesday.
Police said that the truck was on its way to Jammu from Pathankot when the accident took place. “The police with the help of locals retrieved the bodies of the duo, identified as Balwant Singh and Ranjit Singh, both residents of Taran Taran, out of the badly mangled truck. Bodies were shifted to Government Medical College, Kathua for post-mortem. A case was registered in this connection,” police added.
