Baltal, June 30: Secretary Rural Development Department (RDD), Shahid Iqbal Choudhary who is also the Nodal Officer for Amarnath Yatra via Baltal axis on Sunday visited the Baltal base camp in Ganderbal district to review the arrangements in place for the ongoing annual Amarnath Yatra.
Choudhary, reviewed the arrangements for Amarnath Yatra at Baltal, emphasising quality services for yatris. He assessed facilities like accommodation, medical services, sanitation, and security, urging departments to work together to address gaps.
Choudhary stressed the importance of a smooth yatra experience, safety, comfort, and spiritual fulfilment for every yatri.
He directed regular monitoring of sanitation facilities and enhanced communication among stakeholders for the yatra’s success.
