Budgam, Dec 19 : Head of International Centre for Peace Studies ( ICPS ) author and senior BJP leader Khalid Jehangir on Tuesday said that books play an important role in shaping up the lives of individuals.
Jehangir inaugurated the Tagore Library cum study centre, an initiative started by Altaf Hussain and Majid Ali, at Budgam, a press release said.
While addressing the gathering he said, “Study centres like this encourage youngsters to cultivate reading habits.” He underlined the role of books in opening one’s windows to the world. Jehangir pledged support to the study centre and provided it with books.
