Debate on artificial intelligence at KU today

Srinagar, Aug 20: Indian Institute of Public Administration, J&K Regional Branch, in collaboration with Department of Student welfare, Kashmir University is organising a one debate on the topic of importance of artificial intelligence in the present day world.

According to a press statement issued by Joint Secretary, IIPA, S G M Andrabi, the debate competition will start at 10 am tomorrow, 21 August at Gandhi Bhawan, Kashmir University.

   

Postgraduate/undergraduate students of various Universities and colleges of Kashmir division are participating in the annual competition. The debaters are expected to place their view point before the house indicating the “uses & drawbacks of artificial intelligence.”

Vice Chancellor of Kashmir University, Prof Neelofar Khan, will be the chief guest at valedictory function at 4 pm in which the winners of debate competition will be given cash prizes on behalf of IIPA. Vice chairman, IIPA Dr GN Qasba will preside over the function.
