Srinagar, July 30: At least four shops and a granary mill were damaged in a fire mishap in Gulzar Pora area of Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

An official told the news agency Kashmir Scroll that in early morning, fire engulfed the granary mill of Bashir Ahmad Wani son of Ghulam Mohd Wani, resident of Gulzarpora Awantipora.

   

He said that fire has been brought under control by the collective efforts of fire services personnel, Police and the locals, while as the cause of fire is believed to be electrical short circuit.

He said that in the incident four shops and a granary mill got partially damaged, however there is no loss of life or injury to anyone.

Further investigation in this regard has been taken up, he said.
