Go beyond rhetoric, find genuine solutions: BJP’s Chugh to Dr. Farooq

Srinagar, 31 Aug: The Bhartiya Janata Party’s (BJP)  national general secretary and in-charge for J&K, Tarun Chugh on Saturday asked the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference chief, Dr. Farooq Abdullah to move beyond rhetoric and focus on real things.

Criticizing Abdullah’s comments on unity and diversity, Chugh said he condemns the sudden shift in the JKNC’s rhetoric and termed it as “mere political theatre.”

Abdullah should go beyond empty rhetoric and take tangible steps toward building a unified and integrated nation, Chugh said.

“Mere grandstanding and empty promises will not achieve this, we need real results and sincere efforts,” he said.

Terming the JKNC’s stand as ironic, Chugh said that the party hoodwinks the public with their manifestos, promising restoration of Article-370, and some days later they claim it could take a century to achieve this.
