Shopian, August 24: A groom was injured after he was stabbed by some unknown person at a village in Shopian district on Saturday evening.
A police official said that the incident took place in Rakhana village, some 12 kms from Shopian town.
The official identified the injured groom as Mubashir Ahmad Naik son of Bashir Ahmad Naik of Rakhana.
Naik was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital from where he was sent to SMSHS, Srinagar, given the grave nature of his injuries.
