The Industrial Estate Chotipora, Handwara, which comprises over 30 industrial units is grappling with an acute water shortage.
The unit holders said that they were suffering immensely due to a lack of drinking water and the concerned authorities were watching their miseries as mute spectators.
They said that the matter has been brought into the notice of the Jal Shakti Department Division Handwara numerous but to no avail.
They have once again appealed authorities to redress their genuine issue at the earliest so the hardships being faced by them may end.
