J&KCSF for joint strategy against drug addiction, other social evils

Jammu, Jan 24: Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum (J&KCSF) has advocated a joint strategy against drug addiction and other social evils.

According to a press release, the social evils came under discussion during a meeting of J&KCSF here. Chairman of the forum, Abdul Qayoom Wani, chaired the meeting.

   

The leader decided to submit the suggestions in the form of resolution to the higher ups in administration and religious scholars and heads of all religions organisations of all religions besides legal luminaries, educationists. The resolution will demand a joint strategy to fight the collective challenge of drug menace and social evils. The leaders also stressed the need of raising the voice of pensioners, who are facing multiple problems.

Wani stressed the need of organising a broad based meeting of pensioners of Jammu and Kashmir tentatively on February 12 in Jammu.
