JKJCCPS urges govt to fulfil demands of teachers

Jammu and Kashmir Joint Coordination Committee of Private Schools (JKJCCPS) on Wednesday urged government to fulfill demands of SarvaShikshaAbhiyaan(SSA) teachers.

In his statement, president JKJCCPS Showkat M Chowdhary said it is unfortunate that teachers have to hit the streets and go for indefinite hunger strike for their genuine demands.

   

“On Teachers Day, teachers should have been awarded for their meritorious services, but they are forced to go on hunger strike,” he said.

Scores of teachers under the banner of J&K Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (TJAC) over non implementation of 7th pay commission to them.
