Srinagar, Aug 2: The Kidney Transplant Unit of SKIMS is organising “Organ Donation Day” August 3.
Noted legal, religious and social personalities invited to speak on this occasion include Retired Justice Bashir A Kirmani, MaulanaMufti Nazir A Qasmi, Aga Syed Mudasir Hasan Rizvi, Navtej Singh, Satish Vimal and Dr Mushtaq A Rather.
The programme is intended to raise awareness amongst the masses to understand and pledge for organ donation in their lifetime. This day has been declared by NOTTO as the organ donation day and various programmes are intended throughout the country to raise awareness about organ donation. The event will be held at SKIMS auditorium on Saturday, from 11 am to 1 pm.
