Kangan, July 30: The land sinking in Bonibagh area of Kangan in Ganderbal district has created fear among the local residents here.
Locals said that they are living under extreme fear as the land adjacent to their residential houses is sinking.
“It seems as if the entire hill is about to fall down. Landslides from this hill are continuously coming down towards the area. We are reeling under extreme fear,” the local residents said.
The residents appealed to the administration to take immediate measures so that any untoward incident is avoided. They said that in the year 2022 a massive landslide hit the area near the same place causing extensive damage to the public property.
