Srinagar, July 6: Senior leader of Apni Party Khwaja Farooq Renzushah today said that let democracy decide who will be the next chief minister (CM) of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a press note, he was reacting to a statement by senior BJP leader Sham Lal Sharma that only a Dogra can be next chief minister.
“One India and one J&K vision was promoted by Kashmiris by giving extraordinary sacrifices for defending our country India and its democracy. Apni Party under leadership of Syed Altaf Bukhari faced boldly those forces who challenged accord or worked constantly from 1947 to weaken Indian constitution writ in Kashmir,” Renzushah said. He added that no Indian nationalist Kashmiri who gave tremendous sacrifices to safe guard high values of India as proud country will appreciate this statement Sharma to speak only Dogra can be next chief minister. “It is process of democracy which will determine who will be next chief minister,” Renzushah said.
