Srinagar, Aug 29: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has condoled the demise of legal luminary, eminent writer and a great scholar on Kashmir A G Noorani who passed away in Mumbai today, a press release said.
Mirwaiz id that he had great personal relations with the deceased who had many times advised him on political and legal matters.
He was a very sincere person and forthright in his opinions. “Noorani sahab was a true friend and supporter of the people of J&K and had a deep and critical understanding of the Kashmir issue, ”he said.
