PDP constituency incharge Ganderbal resigns

Ganderbal, Aug 27: PDP’s constituency incharge Bilal Ahmed Sheikh on Tuesday quit the party.

Sheikh, who was associated the PDP for last two decades and had won the DDC elections last time.

   

He was Vice Chairperson District Development Council (DDC) for Ganderbal district, was also the constituency incharge for Ganderbal.

As of now, Bilal Ahmed Sheikh has not announced any future political plans, leaving speculation about his next steps. “ I have not decided anything as of now,” he said adding that he will consult my workers and then only he can take a decision whether to contest the elections as an independent candidate or join any party.

Meanwhile, the DDC member Kangan-A Tasmeena Adil on Tuesday joined the National Conference in presence of senior NC leader and Member of Parliament Mian Altaf Ahmed.
