The residents of Gazeryal and adjacent areas have appealed to authorities to complete the Drangyari-Gazeryal Water Supply Scheme without further delay.
The residents said that after numerous representations a new water supply scheme was approved for Gazeryal but after the passage of several years, the scheme is yet to be completed, as a result of which they were suffering badly due to shortage of drinking water.
The residents said that once the scheme is completed, their long-pending issue of water scarcity will be resolved.
They have appealed to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan to intervene in this regard.
