Residents of Bohipora Kupwara here on Sunday accused authorities of failing to repair their road, giving tough time to locals.
Residents said the road was dotted with potholes which makes the journey a back-breaking exercise. “There should’nt be injustice meted out to our village because it is only 1 km away from the main town Kupwara, still we have been ignored” they said.
“Presently when macadamisation is going on in different areas of the district, it seems that our road would not be macdemised this year also,” they added.
Pertininently Government Degree College Kupwara is situated on the same road and students studying there often complain about the bad condition of the road.
The locals have appealed to the higher authorities to macadamise the road so that they can have a relief.
