Security measures reviewed in Rajpora assembly constituency

Pulwama, Sep 03: Akhliesh Kumar, the Police Observer for Pulwama, Tuesday conducted an extensive visit to the Tehsil Litter area within the Rajpora assembly constituency to assess security arrangements and address public concerns ahead of the upcoming elections.

During his visit, the Police Observer inspected polling booths at Lassipora, Litter and Tumlihal to evaluate the security measures in place. He also engaged with local residents, listening to their election-related grievances and assuring them of a free and fair election process.

   

Furthermore, Kumar reviewed the Static Surveillance Team (SST) checkpoint at SIDCO Lassipora, ensuring compliance with security protocols. He also held a briefing with guards, discussing matters pertinent to their duties during the election period.

In addition, the Police Observer assessed the inter-district checkpoint at Naina, where he addressed issues raised by the security forces, ensuring that all concerns are managed effectively.

In addition to these activities, he also visited the designated accommodation for candidates to inspect security arrangements put in place.

These activities were conducted in line with the guidelines set forth by the Election Commission of India, reflecting the commitment to a secure and impartial electoral process in the Rajpora constituency.
