Ganderbal, May 18: In a shocking incident, a shopkeeper was stabbed to death at his shop in Perpora, Kachan area of Central Kashmir’s Gandarbal district on Saturday. An official said that a shopkeeper was attacked with a sharp-edged knife in Perpora Kachan, Ganderbal Saturday afternoon, leaving him severely injured. Though he was immediately taken to nearby hospital where doctors refferred him to SKIMS Soura where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival. The deceased has been identified as Fayaz Ahmad Dar (32), son of Gh Haasan Dar. Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Ganderbal Sandeep Gupta told Greater Kashmir that one suspect involved in the incident has been identified and manhunt has been launched to arrest him. “ We have identified a suspect involved in this crime incident and will arrest him “ SSP said.
