Six youth were injured in clashes with the security forcesin Nowhatta area of Downtown Srinagar on Friday.
Reports said that youth pelted the forces with stonesoutside the historic Jamia Masjid in Nowhatta soon after congregational weeklyprayers.
They said the police and paramilitary forces deployed in thearea retaliating by firing tear gas and pellets.
Reports said that six youth were hit by pellets.
