Srinagar, Sep 01: The former president of the Jammu Kashmir National Peoples Party and a man known to be as a separatist, Syed Salim Geelani, on Sunday formally joined the Mehbooba Mufti led People’s Democratic Party (PDP), reports said.
The announcement was made at the PDP headquarters in Srinagar.
He is likely to contest the forthcoming Assembly elections from the Khanyar constituency, news agency KB reported.
