Veteran academician retires after 34 years of service

Srinagar, Mar 30: Nisar Ahmad, the Principal of SP Higher Secondary School, Srinagar, is set to superannuate on 31st March culminating a remarkable career spanning nearly 34 years.

He began his journey in the Department of Education in 1990 as a lecturer and has since then left an indelible mark on the education landscape of Kashmir.

   

Throughout his career, Nisar Ahmad has served with distinction in various capacities, demonstrating unwavering dedication and passion for education. He was elevated to the position of Principal in 2010, and during his tenure, he has led several prestigious institutions, including HSS B K Pora, BHSS Batamaloo, GHSS Channapora, GHSS Ganderbal, and S P Model Higher Secondary School.

His contributions to education in the Valley are widely recognised with his efforts not only illuminating countless lives in Kashmir but also spreading light beyond its borders. His positivity, sense of humor, and caring attitude towards students, combined with his brotherly behavior with subordinates, have set a standard of excellence that will be remembered for years to come.
