Kargil, Aug 03: At least twelve people were injured after a building collapsed in Kabaddi Nullah area of Kargil district in the early hours of Saturday.
An official said that the building collapsed in early hours due to land sinking, following which a swift rescue operation was carried out by Kargil Police, UTDRF, AJUIAK, Baseej Volunteers to rescue the trapped persons.
The injured persons have been shifted to District Hospital Kargil for medical aid. SSP Kargil Shree Raam along with other officials are monitoring the rescue operation.
