Rajouri, Dec 18: A woman and her eight year old daughter were injured in a road mishap at Manoor Gala on Rajouri- Kotranka road.
Officials said that the accident occurred when a car which was on its way to Rajouri from Kotranka hit the pedestrian woman and her daughter.
“The car driver fled from the spot while locals removed both the injured to GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri, where they are under treatment,” the officials said
They further said that the car was intercepted at Khandli police check post in Rajouri town and has been seized for further legal proceedings.
The injured were identified as Musarrat Begum wife of Mohammad Younis and her daughter Irien Fatima, resident of Ladote village of Rajouri.
