Amarnath Yatra going on from Pahalgam, Baltal routes

Baltal, July 1: The annual Amarnath yatra which commenced on June 29 is going on smoothly from both Pahalgam and Baltal routes.

On day three of the yatra, a fresh batch of yatris left from Baltal and Nunwan base camps early morning for Darshan at the Amarnath cave shrine amid heightened security arrangements.

   

The yatris expressed satisfaction over the management and better facilities for the yatra by the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SAsb) and J&K administration.

Meanwhile, a fourth batch of 6461 Amarnath Yatris on Monday left for twin routes of Baltal and Pahalgam from the Bhagwati Nagar base camp for the Amarnath cave situated in south Kashmir.

As many as 4140 pilgrims left for Pahalgam and 2321 left for Baltal.
