Arms recovered during search operation in J&K’s Rajouri

Rajouri, Aug 01: Security forces on Thursday recovered arms during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in a remote village of Kalakote sub division in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Official sources said that Indian Army’s Rashtriya Rifles and Jammu and Kashmir police along with its Special Operation Group (SOG) launched a Cordon and Search Operation in areas of Gulabgarh, Baaji Maal villages falling under Dharamsal police station.

   

During the CASO, they said, some arms have been recovered from a suspected terror hideout.

“Some arms have been found while searches are still going on and exact details will be shared once operation is over,” said an official.
