CRPF man dies after complaining of chest pain in Handwara

Srinagar, Aug 28: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man died after complaining of chest pain in north Kashmir’s Handwara, officials said Wednesday.

Quoting an official, news agency NVI reported that the incident happened in the District Police Lines in Handwara when the CRPF man complained of unease in the chest and then collapsed.

   

The official said that the CRPF man was immediately taken to the District Hospital Handwara, from where he was later referred to SKIMS, Soura for advanced treatment,  but he succumbed.

The CRPF man was identified as Dharmendra Singh (42).

The police have taken up the investigation, the official added.
