DGP J&K Swain chairs high-level review meeting, emphasizes public-friendly responses

Srinagar, Nov 6: The Director General of Police (DGP) of Jammu & Kashmir, R.R. Swain, conducted a comprehensive review of police operations at the zonal, range, district levels, and other organizational wings. The meeting addressed operational challenges, practical response execution, and public-friendly policing.

During the informal discussion, the DGP encouraged open communication among officers at various levels, emphasizing the importance of cost-effective, public-friendly, and nationally aligned law enforcement. He expressed his pleasure and privilege in interacting with senior officers after assuming the role of DGP.

   

DGP Swain acknowledged the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s achievements and encouraged continuous improvement and enhanced capabilities. He emphasized the importance of professionalism, transparency, and accountability in police work. H

He also stressed self-correction and efficient resource utilization, pledging full support from the Police Headquarters.

Welfare and well-being of personnel were highlighted as priorities, and senior officers briefed the DGP on unit functions and their commitment to providing improved police services to the public.

The meeting was attended by senior police officials and discussed various aspects of law enforcement in Jammu & Kashmir.
