Jammu, Aug 13: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh on Tuesday said that the former J&K Chief Minister and JKNC chief Farooq Abdullah is demoralising the security forces in the region.

Taking strong exception to Abdullah’s recent statement regarding collusion of security forces with the Pakistan elements, Chugh said it was a strongly reprehensible and condemnable observation which was motivated to mislead the people of J&K.

Chugh said the security forces in J&K have achieved a big success by negating Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.

He said it was only because of people like Abdullahs and Muftis and Gandhis that Pakistan gets the confidence to create disturbance in J&K. “The entire J&K knows how Abdullahs have been hand-in-glove with the Pakistan ISI to deprive the people of growth and the progress”, he said.

Chugh said it was “shameful and disgusting” that Abdullah was trying to target the security forces who have done exceptionally commendable work to guard the nation in the past few years.

The Modi government would not allow nefarious designs of Abdullahs and Muftis to succeed in any case, he added.

The J&K has already a new era of development and progress where the youth is finding new opportunities of employment and growth. Undoubtedly the people would teach Abdullahs a befitting lesson in days to come, Chugh said.
