Rajouri, Nov 25: The frequent closure of Targain link road in Kotranka sub division is causing inconvenience to local people. They have demanded proper approach to make this road functional throughout the year.
The road referred to as Samote to Targain road is under construction. The first several kilometres of road were constructed but construction work on rest of the part is pending.
Locals said that at a few hundred meters stretch of this road is quite risky. The landslide and falling of debris including stones, clay cause blockade of road putting people in trouble.
They said that the matter has been taken up with the department multiple times but without any result.
Locals said that frequent closure of road should be prevented through concrete measures and steps.
