KU postpones all exams scheduled for Wednesday

Srinagar, Feb 20: The authorities in Kashmir University (KU) have postponed all the examinations scheduled for February 21 (Wednesday) of 2024, in view of the weather forecast for the coming days.

The decision has come in wake of the persistent demand of students scheduled to appear in the examinations, to postpone the examinations.

   

Talking to Greater Kashmir, controller examination KU Dr Majid Zamaan said the University administration has decided to postpone all the examinations slated for February 21 of 2024.

“The decision to postpone the examination was taken in view of the prevailing weather conditions. The students had also demanded for postponement of exams,” he told Greater Kashmir.

Meanwhile, the students have urged the University administration to postpone all the examinations keeping in view the weather forecast.

“Majority of students are from far flung areas and there is prediction of heavy snowfall as well. Already, most of the areas have received heavy snowfall due to which it will not be possible to reach the university for appearing in the examination,” said Sabba, a University student.
