Rajouri residents demand end to power crisis

Rajouri, Dec 18: Residents of Rajouri town have demanded an end to the ongoing power crisis.

They held a protest demonstration in support of their demand. Locals including social and political activists assembled at Old Bus Stand and at the ward 8 of town and held the protest.

   

The locals said that smooth power supply is very essential for normal life but areas of Rajouri district are reeling under severe power crisis.

“Scheduled curtailment of electricity is not a major issue but the main problem is unscheduled curtailment of electricity,” the protesters including Radish Sharma, P S Kaka, Mohammad Nazam Mir and others said.

“We demand proper electricity supply. There should be an end to the unscheduled power curtailment,” the protesters added.
