Several Amarnath pilgrims injured in road accident in J&K’s Ramban

Srinagar, July 02: Several Amarnath yatri’s have received minor injuries after the bus they were travelling in met with an accident near Nachilana in Ramban district on Srinagar-Jammu national highway on Tuesday.

The officials said that a bus bearing registration number PB-02BNLM/9389 from Punjab met with an accident due to break failure near Nachilana in Ramban district on Srinagar-Jammu national highway.

   

In the incident several yatri’s received minor injuries and were given first aid at nearby Army camp, the officials said and added, “All passengers are safe”.

The bus as per officials was not registered with authorities to ferry Amarnath pilgrims to Kashmir.

The bus was coming back from Shri Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage and was on way back to Hoshiyarpur Punjab.

Police and other officials are on the spot and have taken cognizance of the incident.
