Srinagar, June 03: J&K Traffic Police Monday informed that traffic movement on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway will remain suspended in the intervening night of June 3 and 4, owing to urgent repair and maintenance which has to be carried out on NH44 between Ramban and Banihal.
The officials said that as intimated by NHAI that urgent repair/maintenance has to be carried out on NH44 between Ramban and Banihal during today’s intervening night of 3rd and 4th of June 2024. All type of vehicular movement will remain suspended tonight.
They said no movement of any kind of vehicle including fresh perishable/livestock will be allowed on NH-44 today on 03.06.2024 (Monday) after 6 pm from Qazigund towards Ramban. Similarly no vehicular movement shall be allowed from Nagrota (Jammu) after 5 pm and from Udhampur 6 pm.
The officials advised commuters to avoid journey on NH-44 till the work is completed.
