Annual day function of RMG international school

Mathwar, Feb 25: Observing that close synergy between parents and teachers besides adequate infrastructural facilities were imperative for shaping the destiny of children, especially from early schools, senior BJP leader Devender Singh Rana today lauded the huge role being played by private schools in supplementing the efforts in providing best possible education even in rural and remote areas.

“Schooling is not confined to classrooms only, it means overall growth of children by providing them good space for sports and extracurricular activities,” Rana said while speaking at the annual day function of RMG International School at Jandyal, in Nagrota Assembly Constituency on the theme ‘Sangharsh – the Journey of RMG’.

   

According to a press note, calling for frequent teacher-parent interactions to mould young minds towards positive pursuits, Rana said much of the onus lies on academia, which has to strive hard for motivating and preparing their students to achieve academic excellence and to excel in other fields like sports, debates and other extracurricular activities. He also referred to numerous challenges for harmonious growth of youngsters in this era of stress and strain and said these can be met by providing congenial academic environments. “This is the area where managements have to focus and create a wherewithal that helps in overall development of students”, he said and expressed satisfaction that the RMG International School has risen to the occasion in recent years to have state-of-art infrastructure.
