New Delhi, Aug 08: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to extend his best wishes to Professor Muhammad Yunus as he assumed his new role.

Modi expressed hope for a swift return to normalcy in Bangladesh, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the safety and protection of Hindus and all minority communities. He reaffirmed India’s commitment to collaborating with Bangladesh to achieve the shared goals of peace, security, and development for both nations.

   

Prime Minister Narender Modi in a message on X, formerly Twitter said, “My best wishes to Professor Muhammad Yunus on the assumption of his new responsibilities. We hope for an early return to normalcy, ensuring the safety and protection of Hindus and all other minority communities.

India remains committed to working with Bangladesh to fulfil the shared aspirations of both our peoples for peace, security and development.”
