2 Army men injured in Rajouri highway accident

Rajouri, May 10:  Two Army personnel were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in turned turtle alongside a highway at Dhanwan in Rajouri district on Friday.

The vehicle was part of an Army convoy.

   

It met with an accident at Dhanwan, 18 km ahead of Rajouri. Soon after the accident, locals said, a rescue operation was launched.

The injured were rescued from the damaged vehicle by locals and other army personnel in the convoy.

Police stated that both the injured were taken to Army Hospital and were reportedly out of danger. The highway was restored for traffic, after a brief disruption due to the accident.
