Poonch, June 5: An elderly woman died while three females were injured in a road accident at Balnoi in Poonch’s Mendhar sub division.
Police officials said that a load carrier vehicle PB03BK 5126 was on its way from Upper Balnoi to Sagra and at Chowara Gali it turned turtle.
In this accident, a pedestrian elderly woman, Laal Jan (65) wife of Munshi Jamal Din resident of Balnoi, died on the spot while three others were injured.
The injured include Shanaz Akhter (35) wife of Mohammad Mushtaq resident of Sagra, Sahila Kouser (8) daughter of Mohammad Arif and Mehnaz Akhter (36) wife of Mohammad Arif, residents of Sagra.
The injured were hospitalised and are under treatment there, officials said.
