APSCC’s plea to LG Sinha

Srinagar, Feb 16: Expressing concern over the absence of Sikh members in autonomous bodies like Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) and Services Selection Board (SSB) , All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) has impressed upon Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to appoint honest and upright Sikh officers on such positions.

In a statement APSCC Chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina said that there are many honest and upright Sikh officers who can be appointed as members of J&K PSC and SSB. He said that there is no let up in discrimination against the Sikh community and the same gets proved by absence of community members as members of autonomous bodies.
