Srinagar, Jan 9: National Conference President and MP from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have expressed profound anguish over the devastating fire in Boat Colony, Khanabal Anantnag, leaving several homes gutted.
In a press release the duo expressed sympathies with the affected families and asked the administration to reach out to them with adequate relief & compensation.
It is pertinent to mention that the boat colony residents come from economically challenged backgrounds and therefore it’s imperative for the administration and the society in general to help them rehabilitate.
