Only peaceful environment will pave way for prosperity, development: Altaf Bukhari

Srinagar, Jan 1: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari today said that only a durable peace in Jammu and Kashmir will pave the way for a sustained prosperity and development in the region, and it will eventually ensure the economic empowerment of the people.

According to a press release, he was addressing a party function here. The function was organised to welcome Advocate Rabia Khursheed into the party fold. Rabia hailing from north Kashmir Uri, is a social and political activist besides a prominent lawyer.

   

Extending a warm welcome to Advocate Rabia Khursheed into the party fold, Bukhari, said, “From now on, you are a part and parcel of the party, and I assure you that in this organization, you will find ample opportunities to serve the people. I wholeheartedly welcome you to the party, and I hope your joining will strengthen the party cadre further in your area.”

Reiterating the party’s core agenda, he said, “Our primary aim is to propel Jammu and Kashmir to new heights of prosperity and development so that people are economically empowered, ensuring the well-being of our young generation as well. We are committed to striving for lasting peace in J&K because we understand that only a peaceful environment will pave the way for the prosperity and development of this region.”
